The Canadian Football scoring system is based on the Golden Ratio, although compromises were made as the system was developed before contemporary digital screen scoreboards were developed. Old style scoreboards were incapable of displaying the irrational numbers required.
In particular, a Touchdown Majoris is valued at 7 points. Dividing this by 3, the value of the Field goal gives 2 1/3. Multiplying this by the average points scored on a Point after attempt when attempting to augment a Touchdown Menoris gives

A proposal has been made to restore scoring using the Golden Ratio.
