Babylon

Babylon refers to either:

1) the region of the field past the back Touchline of each End zone. Traditionally, this area was wooded, until the advent of artificial turf made the maintenance of shrubbery nigh impossible.

2) In the religious tome, The Shrider Book of the Bar Tab, Babylon is the legendary city which kidnapped and enslaved the Canolaites from their homeland during the Dontmaikascene Era. It is believed to have existed in what is now Alberta (a thousand curses be on its name!). Archaeologists continue to search for this apocryphal metropolis, sustaining terrible losses in so doing.
